Can You Dig It ?

The planets of Mercury, Venus and Saturn are in alignment for full view from San Francisco. Last night at The Independent, the planets of Doodlebug, Butterfly and Ladybug were in full view for their reunion tour. Great sound and a great venue. It's been around 14 years since I saw them for the first and only other time at the PEAC Center in Philly. PEAC meaning Physical Education Athletic Center - the gym of my uniVERSity. Crown City Rockers from Oakland opened up the show with live instrumentation over 2 to 3 MC's. DP pulled it off last night with a dj, a bass player, a drummer and a powerbook aficianado. Where were you, fuzz ? Well, the marathon of shows is over. Although, Beck and his breakdancing Captain Stubbing self will be at the Bill Graham Civic Center soon.
