RICHIE HAWTIN IS GOD !!!!!!!

Last night at Mezzanine, Richie Hawtin played a 3 hour epic set. It was the best set I have ever heard him play. He played Plastikman tracks and went through all the subgenres of techno. Although he does play a bit slower in the BPM area these days, it brings out the funkiness of the songs. There is more space in between the beats. Amazing. One of the most amazing musical experiences I have ever had and I didn;t even dance that much. I stood on the dancefloor and listened to the organ reverberating bass. Everytime he brought down the low end and mixed in the highs for the build, he brought it back deeper and deeper. I didn;t even know bass could go that low. At the end, the speakers couldn't even handle the low frequency. Mutha-fukin WOW. No other DJ even comes close to what this guy can do to move people on the dancefloor. People were going off and by the end, only the hardcore were left.
