Last Wednesday, Modeselektor came into town and showed exactly how to be musically progressive while also be entertaining in a live setting. They went on a little after midnight and interspersed with their own songs, they dropped some serious beats that was reminiscent of a Richie Hawtin experience. The place was still packed at 2am when the show was done. People were going off right up to the end. I guess cool kids still do dance, the funky chicken.
