clarion alley series.2007
a number of my friends in the bay area are having babies as of late. this decision to breed and scatter effected my east coast friends about 5 years back. maybe the west coast is 5 years ahead, or too late. i guess it depends on how you look at it. well, two of these babies have the fortune? of listening to such bands as nirvana, radiohead and the cure in baby format, which i guess along with polka, classical and rock are formats of music. i wonder if these kids will grow up and when they hear these songs in their original form, or in some elevator they won't feel like crawling up in a ball and sucking on a nipple. maybe?
these songs are the ones that should be played in the crib. they frighten most adults, but i think kids would understand. they have nice soothing melodies and frantic slighly rounded rhythms. huh?
Bola - Urenforpuren (Ambient, Abstract Beats)
Mikkel Metal - Conceal (Ambient, Abstract Beats)
Pan Sonic - Lapevinmeri / Laptev Sea (Minimal Beats)
Murcof - Mir (Minimal Beats) - don't forget to check out murcof at the
SFEMF in september, or maybe the lovefest is your thing. i hear it's being sponsored by Velveeta and Kraft this year. when will these people bring in some good beats to the city and not the tired old ones that we've heard for the past 7 years. well, i guess you can blame it on the promoters who throw the same boring parties to help their burning man float, and their "underground" music. lame. isn't an opel supposed to be the most worthless gem, and isn't it spelled opal?
